We're Hiring: Opening for Communications Associate Position

AI is seeking a dynamic, team-player who is also a self-starter to fill the role of public relations associate at our firm. Our ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in a communications, PR or marketing role and understands the basics of media relations, copywriting, and social media management. Must be able to interface with clients. In-depth knowledge of Oklahoma’s political and media landscape is preferred. Excellent writing skills are required. This employee will work with a team of public affairs professionals to accomplish goals for multiple clients on deadline.

Responsibilities will include:   

-       Drafting and editing press releases, media advisories, opeds, email communications and other documents

-       Daily management of social media accounts and content creation

-       Compiling and distributing press clips and media mentions

-       Managing MailChimp/Constant Contact data and sending regular communications on behalf of clients

-       Research for clients and partners; preparing background materials

-       Event planning (some in-state travel possible)
